Story behind the song
The wind is the spirit and soul of life in my song.
Lyrics
THE WIND By Robert A. Muscovitz May15, 2004 Where did it go? I felt it going by. A gust of wind blew by my face And dust filled up my eye I didn’t see it. I heard the noise that’s all. It didn’t stop to say hello Nor take the time to call The wind is like the sands of time It passes by each day And every now and then it leaves Some pebbles on its way Sometimes it stops, within a blink To take your breath away You feel the wind blow by your face Becoming yesterday. Where does it go After it is gone? Whether calm or stormy Leaving traces there upon Tho’ I didn’t see it I felt it pass on by Memories that fade away Like silence from a cry. (Chorus) The wind is life or so it seems Without it things move slow The wind is like the human soul Wonder where it goes The wind has power all its own Like spirit we can’t see I feel the wind that comes and goes And lives inside of me. Where is it now? I felt it going by. A gust or two and then the calm From breathless to a sigh I never saw it. I felt it as it passed I tried to hold it in my hand But then it was the past (Chorus) Robert A. Muscovitz All Rights Reserved

Wow Bob, i think this is the most beautiful songs of all of yours I've heard. Your voice, your progressions and chords...hauntingly beautiful, well written lyrics as well. Just beautiful :)

Great song Bob...one of your best ever. I love the guitar work although i think that could be recorded brighter and fuller. Your vox are ace. Loved the lyrics although i think the second verse could use a re-write as it just isn't as strong as the others imho. Loved the last line "tried to hold it in my hand but then it was the past"..excellent! my 2 cents... Pine
