They met the Red Man here Who fought between themselves Then wars and treaties came The books are on the shelves Restless wanderers Claimed the countryside To raise their families Yet keep the Red Man’s pride The White Man brought the Black Then fought a civil war Freedom across the land A legal metaphor Restless wanderers Doing all they could To raise their families In the name of good. Real interesting tune Bob. Lots of good lyrics and sung in a more subtle , laid back style than some of your others. The sound of the guitar was intriguing. How did you get that tone? maximum compression? Whatever, it's very unique and fit the tune very well. A good song that held me in to the end. Nice!
