Story behind the song
I became obsessed with the "In a house / In a Heart Beat" film/theme music. Its original has absolutely no words or vocals to it at all but it is entirely theatrical with a full fledged cinematic orchestration to it. It was created by John Murphy for the movies 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later.
Lyrics
nter the garden there's a serpent that slithers Patiently awaiting to rise For what's become of us, there order has littered Our children while we whither and die No more control, chase becomes what we know Maybe the only way we have to survive Only we know, those who keep a clear mind They're saying this is our end in time The over-dosage of violence, no peace or asylum You're not safe while you're here Somewhere it is quiet, peaceful and silent If you dream you'll be there Everyone has become no more What is done is a wound so sore All we have is ourselves to thank For each mistake and promises we'd break All must succumb, can't go undone, why find a reason Each breath our lungs, nowhere to run cant escape the seasons Feel the fires burning, the earth is shaking You can't escape it We wont make it, no -- we wont make it We go to war, we are obsessed to die Til' we are no more, how do we unite Living for life or are we living to die How do we find salvation, thru cloudy skies Who are you, who wont make it? Who are they, who wont make it? Who are we, who wont make it? Who am I, who wont make it?
