Rock, Funk, Blues infused tribute song
Original Rockin' Blues with Tennis lyrics and songs about other bluesy people.
I recorded most of my songs with Daniel Giron, a classical and flamenco guitar wizard who now plays rockin' blues guitar with me . Bands I've perfomed with in the rockin' blues scene are the Albert Castiglia Band, Marcel Anton Band, D.W. Gill & Blues Phantoms, Walker Smith Band, The Juke Joint Kings(Host Tennis and Blues Band), Willie Lomax/Shaun Brown Band, Loansharks(NY Band), Charlie Chaplin Band(Reggae), Impulse(Reggae) amongst others. All of my songs are originals and I do all the songwriting. My new CD, entitled "Tennis, Blues and Other news", has a mix of Sports/Tennis songs mixed in with some funky, blues rockers.

Story behind the song
This is a tribute song to my great friend FUNKY CHUCKY who just retired from the Fire Dept. in Safety Harbor, Fl. Funky loves live music, festivals and great times with friends. He currently lives with his fired up, 86-year old Mother, Mama Funk!
