Here are a few songs I've written and recorded in the English countryside over the last year or so. They are not “folk” in the sense that I sing about picking cider apples or pig farming (though I don’t disapprove of either of these activities!), but rather songs massively influenced by nature and the anti-consumerist, anti-materialist and non-conformist lifestyle I love. If I had to describe them I’d say they were honest and quiet songs, but I’d really rather you made up your own mind about what they are and what they mean. I hope to God they aren’t as painfully lifeless as the "marketable" abominations you'll find in the charts. If you like them (or if you hate them) please give me an email at mongolian51@hotmail.com, Oli

Lyrics
before the daylight hit my door grace came to my room, speaking in tongues like a delicate one, under the spheres and the moon, caught in the trees with butterflies and bees, these are the traps we lay, running through the wood where the village once stood before the fires of may, jacob a came with the summer rain, but sowed his lips together, gone 'way but this stutter cripples me, i am touching the feathers, am i scaring the birds away? with the words of the young your lips shiver long, framed around the wheels of change, and the vines that have grown seem like cracks in our stone, but they hold me to your game, hold me to your game
