Wassup every body, name is Kristopher Mitchell and I am 18 years old. I was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica until I was 12 years old. Music is my passion, my love and I can't picture my life with out it. I remember when I was younger I used to listen to Mariah Carey, Brian Mcknight, Luther Vandross, Joe, and Celine Dion. My mom would always walk in on me in my room singing loud into my T.V. controller. I joined my church youth choir in Jamaica when I was 10 years old. I never sung in a group before and I was nervous, but my mom reassured me I would be ok. The 2 years I stayed n that choir, I refused to sing a solo because I was too scared. When I came to the US to live with my Aunt, she forced me to joined the youth choir at church and chorus at school. Well, My first week there I was offered to sing a solo, "I believe I can fly" and my aunt said I HAD to do it even if I freeze on stage. She was a really strick lady, but In doing that solo, Alot of doors opened. I was offered to sing for the opening act for Judy Peterson In Orlando and after that, I was offered to be the opening at for Kirk Franklin. At school, enetered alot of talent shows and competions where I did very well in. I also played a minor role in school musicals, "Bye, Bye Birdie" and "Damn Yankees." I also worte, directed, and plyed the major role in two musical at my church. So music really is my passion and my love. Music is "My Thing....." Just hand me a mic!
