Hardcore screamo out of Warren, Ohio. A solid blend between ambient, sensitive guitarings and brutal, full-frontal assaults.
Just close your eyes/and count to three/Keep your eyes on me
- "Hearts Were Made For Crossing"
That's exactly the story of this quintet- Instead of haphazardly assembling a group of randomly interested musicians, Break Out The Shotguns formed over a lengthy growth process, taking almost 4 months to wait for the perfect lineup. What started as a simple idea, a thought, a premonition, started to take wings all by itself. After a period of much thought, prayer, and discernment, a core group of musicians with the same attitudes and drives finally manifested itself in what is now the current lineup.
Fast-foward to today. All the ducks seemed to line themselves up, every detail seemed to work itself out, each closed door seemed to open up wide. After spending many nights perfecting the sound, musicianship, and the overall quality of their songs, the time had come to spread these wings. The five of them, armed with an ardent passion and enthusiasm for Christ, music, and Foos' apple strudel, are ready now to close their eyes, count to three, and dive deeply into the abyss that is the music industry.
Everything we do, we do it for God's glory.
