Facial Hair started off in December 2008 as Jarryd Kellett & Andre de jager. We made our first song very very fast (less than 5 minutes) and called it "Elke Dag". The name Facial Hair came along EXACTLY how I'm telling you now - we needed a name and Jarryd looked at Andre's face and saw facial hair, and the rest is history. "Elke Dag" was made for the purpose of singing from door to door because we wanted to make song money. Since that didn't work out we decided to record "Elke Dag" so that we could show it to everyone. The next day we recorded it and people where asking when our new song was coming out. And so "A Boere-Tan" was made, but only featuring Robert Froli. We started to use Robert in our songs a lot and so we decided to include him into Facial Hair. :-)
