The Moirai Vibe was founded by our drummer Al (Tito) Ortiz in May 2010. The name Moirai comes from the word Destiny. Our motto is to provide “Positive Vibrations for your heart, mind, soul and body!” The focus of our music is to offer a style of Reggae that encompasses our past experiences of Latin, Jazz, Rock, Smooth Jazz, Funk, Gospel musicians and even Musical Theater experience. The Moirai Vibe was created with the intention to provide and establish a different outlook from the traditional Reggae music scene in North East Florida. As a result we would define our music as New Age Reggae. Members of the Moirai rhythm section has been working on various projects at local and regional levels such as the Jazz Festivals and local scene since 1995 which by definition establishes a strong core foundation
