Rap, Hip-Hop, East Coast, West Coast, South, North, and Arabic beats all in one place!!
Wow, I guess my two older brothers really influenced my music likings. Both were way into music, one of them had 17,000 songs on his iTunes. The genres they listened to wasn't limited to anything either, which helped broaden my idea of good music. They were also both in bands and when I was growing up I would hear them play music a lot.
As for actually making music myself, I started around early 2010. I got Magix Music Maker as a demo and played with that a lot. It was all sample based so there was a limit to my creativity. After a while I found FL Studio. At first, I had no clue how to use it, then after a while I picked up on it really fast. I purchased an Akai MPK 61 near the end of 2010/beginning of 2011. Since then I've experimented with Ableton, Reason, and Garage Band, and I still felt alot more comfortable with FL Studio. Now I solely rely on FL Studio, my laptop, and my keyboard. Since summer started on the east coast, I've been able to take a whole day to myself and make songs, which opens my creativity up and quality of the songs can be a little better because of no time constraints. That sums up the musical part of my life,
