This music draws huge influences from old video games and is pretty much written with the intent to work in that context. I've writtten a bunch of chiptunes like this, using very basic synth sounds like they did back then.

Basically I came to a point where I was exhausted just thinking about making huge production heavy songs like my project Synthetic Flesh. This was my response to that, making it as simple as possible and only focus on the composition and melodies. It was nice to change things up for a while and it made me write music in new ways.
