This is a tribute song to one of the best College Tennis Coaches of our modern era, Coach Brian "Bossman" Boland, who won 10 National, Electric Team titles at UVA while he was there. This is a sendoff, good luck musical gift to this humble sensation.

I recorded most of my songs with Daniel Giron, a classical and flamenco guitar wizard who now plays rockin' blues guitar with me . Bands I've perfomed with in the rockin' blues scene are the Albert Castiglia Band, Marcel Anton Band, D.W. Gill & Blues Phantoms, Walker Smith Band, The Juke Joint Kings(Host Tennis and Blues Band), Willie Lomax/Shaun Brown Band, Loansharks(NY Band), Charlie Chaplin Band(Reggae), Impulse(Reggae) amongst others. All of my songs are originals and I do all the songwriting. My new CD, entitled "Tennis, Blues and Other news", has a mix of Sports/Tennis songs mixed in with some funky, blues rockers.

Story behind the song
This is a tribute song to one of my favorite Tennis Coaches, who worked CTA Camps with me back in the 90s. When Bossman Boland got hired at UVA, aka Hoosville, he worked the process of building a CHAMPIONSHIP team and Tennis community...Bossman then went on to win 10 national(electric) team titles and 19 individual national titles with his team at UVA. The USTA hired him away and hear comes Bossman Nation to add to the scene of American Tennis!!
