Frost heaving (or frost heave) occurs when soil expands and contracts due to freezing and thawing. This process can damage plant roots through breaking or desiccation, cause cracks in pavement, and damage the foundations of buildings, even below the frost line. Moist, fine-grained soil at certain temperatures is most susceptible to frost heaving.

Story behind the song
Baron Eddie Van Frankenstein wrote: Two days ago I bought a new travel guitar so I will be ready, any place, and any time, to perform (and i hope that Mancha will always be there to produce the show!). While trying it out last night, I ran it through a Boss Heavy Metal pedal into a home karaoke machine, and discovered a sound that unlocked the shredder in me. I came up with a riff that I liked, and recorded it with Band In A Box drums and bass, and then, inspired by metal masters such as Yngvie Malsteen, Orson Welles, The Inkspots, and of course, Ronnie James Dio (with hints of Led Zeppelin and Blue Oyster Cult), I added lead guitar, cowbell, cello, and Trevor Baskerville laid down his vocals. He sounds more like the queen of metal, Marge Simpson, than ever before. I'm most proud of the cello. I bought it some seven years ago, thinking it would be good to learn how to play it and use it for recording, but this is the first time I have ever played it and/or recorded it. I think you'll find the results... well, you'll find them on the recording.
Lyrics
Hill dwellers of the Himalayas Are growing fresh snow peas Because I am their monarch They give them all to me The people in the valley Who live on down below Are growing brussel sprouts for me Every Larry, Shemp and Moe Chorus I am the King of Pho I unleash the Pho King fury When I run amuck I'm really in a hurry My people feed me cabbage My people feed me greens My people feed me onions My people feed me beans They put them on the table And I have myself a feast, Because I am the King of Pho, you know, And the appetite's unleashed Chorus Shreddin solo, dude Chorus More shreddin
