Story behind the song
I got a Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal recently and just wanted to play around with it a bit. I used my Johnson guitar w/ the neck pickup through my Epi Valve Jr half stack with a bit of chorus for the rhythm, and the same guitar w/ bridge pickup and the Boss pedal set to the "Crunch" setting in the manual. The amp was miked with a Shure SM-57, through an ART TPS 2 pre and an Alesis Multimix 8 USB mixer into Kristal Audio Engine.
