Uptempo instrumental version of the classic New Orleans song in which the blues harp and chromatic harp trade off telling Old Joe McKennedy's sad story.
I wanted to bring the two harp types together and the bluesy, boozy scene described in St. James Infirmary Blues seemed the perfect setting. Much to some purists horror, I added a bit of chorus to get that edgy neon barroom feel.
