Story behind the song
We need to Praise Him on our good AND our bad days. Waiting for Judgment Day to make amends is like waiting until someone's funeral to send them flowers. When Dave sent over the MP3 for "Into the Light", he also sent this gem. Landon received this as an acoustic performance from Dave and his guitar and got to work building the song around the melody line and lyrics. That weekend, Dave came over and recorded the lead vocal. Trying to get the best results, this song has been worked and reworked several times, with numerous vocal and guitar tracks being comped into the final mix. The long orchestral fade was an afterthought, stemming from another piece Landon is currently working on - more on that later perhaps!.
