Story behind the song
This song is obviously the Title track. Think about what Jesus endured for us, and what His Father did out of love for us. Now think about what we did to deserve that... Nothing! For us, Jesus took on: The Nail of Love, The Nail of Loyalty, the Nail of our Sins. Don't let his gift to all of us pass you by. Production Notes: This, the eponymous 'title track' proved very challenging to get right. The beat of a drum serves to equalize timing to some extent; without it, the timing of note attacks has to be perfect. This, and the attempt to emulate a string quartet and a flute duo over some sparse structure made this one of the most labor-intensive songs to date. But all in all, it was a lot of fun.
